Egypt is a place of overwhelming beauty, but planning a trip here can often feel just plain overwhelming. Between the generic package tours that rush you through monuments and the logistical puzzle of trying to do it yourself, it’s easy to miss the real magic of the country.
That’s why we started Destynys. We wanted to bridge the gap between a luxury travel agency and a knowledgeable local friend. We believe that the best way to see Egypt isn’t from the window of a tour bus, but from a sidewalk café in Downtown Cairo, a private felucca on the Nile at sunset, or a quiet spot in the desert under the stars.
We design trips that prioritize how you feel. We handle the logistics (the drivers, the guides, the reservations, etc.) so you can focus on being present. It’s about fewer, better moments, crafted with care and a deep respect for the culture.

Why we started Destynys.
It started with a realization. Omar El Said, a travel expert and lifestyle consultant who lived between Cairo, London, and the Red Sea, noticed a gap. Friends would visit Egypt and come back with stories of chaotic tours, aggressive vendors, and generic hotels. They had seen the monuments, but they hadn’t felt the country.
Omar knew there was a better way. He wanted to create a travel experience that felt like visiting a friend who knows the ropes. Someone who could guide you to the quiet corners, the authentic flavors, and the moments of genuine connection.
Destynys was born from this desire: to design trips with people, not for them. We believe in fewer, better trips. We believe in slowing down. And we believe that luxury isn’t just about thread count. It’s about access, understanding, and the luxury of being completely at ease in a foreign land.

How we approach our travel guides
We distinguish destination preferences from practical information. A recommendation depends on the trip and the people travelling, rather than a ranking that fits everyone. Firsthand impressions are identified where they inform an opinion; naming a hotel does not imply a partnership or a personal visit to every property.
Availability, access rules and facilities can change. Guides help you decide, while prices, inclusions, transport and booking conditions are confirmed in your trip proposal. Review dates refer to substantive updates, and archive photographs are not evidence of a hotel’s current condition.
