A private Giza Pyramids tour

Tell us whether your priority is history, photographs or a family-friendly introduction. We agree the stops and walking involved before booking. Entering a pyramid is a separate request, not an automatic part of a plateau visit.
A private Grand Egyptian Museum tour
Choose a museum-focused visit if you want time to explore ancient Egypt through its objects and stories. Tell your Egyptologist guide what interests you so the proposed route has a clear focus. GEM means the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, not the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Share any admission tickets you already have so we can check the guiding arrangement against their entry conditions.
Pyramids and GEM in one day, or two?
A combined day can suit visitors who want both places in a fuller schedule. A possible outline is a Pyramids visit, a break and a museum visit; the actual order depends on admission arrangements, your pickup point and preferred pace. Choose separate days if you want more time for questions, galleries or rests. We confirm the duration for your plan rather than promising to see everything in a fixed number of hours.
Your private Egyptologist guide
Destynys arranges licensed Egyptologist guides for Pyramids and GEM tours. Your guide helps turn the visit into a conversation about ancient Egypt, with time for your group's questions. Request your preferred language and we will confirm availability for your dates. A driver and a guide have different roles; booking a car does not automatically include guiding. On a standard tour, private refers to your group's tour, not exclusive access to the monuments or museum.
Premium Pyramids tours: club car and private comforts
Ask about our premium Pyramids arrangement with a private club car, refreshments and air-conditioned private waiting areas. Selected-area exclusive access can also be arranged, with the exact areas and conditions confirmed in your proposal. These are Pyramids-specific premium arrangements, not standard inclusions or a promise of private access to the whole site. For a combined day, the GEM visit is confirmed separately. For a dining stop as memorable as the visit, ask Destynys to request a table at Khufu’s on the Giza Plateau. We recommend asking early: it is a popular restaurant and availability can be limited. Share your preferred date, time, party size and dietary needs through our restaurant enquiry. We coordinate the request with your tour; the table, meal arrangements, site entry requirements and any charges are confirmed separately. A reservation request is not a guaranteed table or a meal included in your tour.
Pickup, transport and your Cairo stay
Send your exact hotel or accommodation area in Cairo or Giza so we can quote the pickup, journeys between sites and return. Transport is included only when stated in your proposal. Share passenger numbers, luggage and any child-seat request so we can check the vehicle. Airport transfers, VIP airport assistance, a driver on another day and dinner reservations can be requested alongside the tour, with each service confirmed separately.
Admission tickets and optional extras
The Pyramids and GEM have separate admission arrangements. Museum admission and a guided-tour arrangement are not interchangeable. We confirm who arranges the tickets and what they cover before booking; a pyramid-interior visit or other additional experience needs its own confirmation. Already have tickets? A comfortable pace for families and private groups
For children or anyone who prefers less walking, choose a few priorities and leave space for a break. Comfortable footwear and sun protection are sensible for the outdoor Pyramids visit. Share mobility requirements privately so we can check the proposed route, vehicle and access before you commit. Avoid fitting the tour immediately before a tightly timed airport departure.
How much does a private tour cost?
Your quote depends on the places you choose, number of guests, guide language, duration, vehicle and admission arrangements. There is no single price that fits every group. The proposal distinguishes guiding, transport, tickets, any meal arrangements and extras, with the total and currency stated. Availability, payment, cancellation and any additional charges are confirmed for your individual request before booking.

Can I request a guide for just the Pyramids?
Yes. Choose Giza Pyramids in the enquiry and tell us your dates, group size and preferred language. You do not need to include GEM or book your hotel through Destynys.
Can I book a private GEM tour without visiting the Pyramids?
Yes. Choose Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) in the enquiry for a museum-only plan with a licensed Egyptologist guide. We confirm the guide, admission arrangements and any requested transport.
Do I need a guide, or can I visit independently?
A guide is a choice, not a requirement we impose. A private guide can be useful when you want historical context, help prioritising what to see and time for questions. Tell us if you only need transport instead.
How long should we allow for the Pyramids and GEM?
Allow a fuller sightseeing day if you want both, including travel and a break. There is no single duration for every group. Tell us your available time; we may suggest one site or two separate days for a more relaxed visit.
Are tickets, hotel pickup and lunch included?
Only the items listed in your proposal are included. Guiding, tickets, pickup and return, and meal arrangements are confirmed individually before you book.
Can we choose our guide's language?
You can request it. We confirm language availability for your dates before booking; no specific language is guaranteed simply by sending an enquiry.
Does a private tour include exclusive access or skip-the-line entry?
Not automatically. Ask about the premium Pyramids option for selected-area exclusive access, with the exact scope confirmed in your proposal. This does not mean the whole site or GEM is closed to other visitors, and it does not waive security checks or guarantee priority entry.
